Lola (Dodge) Hamrick, 68, Orofino native

      SPOKANE - Lola (Dodge) Hamrick, a native of the Orofino area, died July 31 of a heart attack at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

      She was 68.

      She was born June 23, 1931, to Charles (Ted) and Zelma Walker Dodge on the Walker homestead on the Old Ahsahka Grade. She attended school at the old Teakean School and Ahsahka School.

      Her interests included crafting, fishing camping and her family.

      She married David Hamrick July 22, 1960. They made their home mostly in Benton City, Wash. She was a homemaker.

      Survivors include her husband in Benton City; a daughter, Kathleen Crumb of Benton City; two sisters, Lorna Toy and Sharon Learned, both of Seattle; three brothers, Tom Dodge of Juliaetta, and James and Bob Dodge, both of Ahsahka; and a granddaughter.

      Burial will be at the family plot at the Cavendish Cemetery.

      No service is planned.
